BOUNTY HUNTER'S LEAGUE

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

 Who Can Participate

All players of any class or level!

How It Works

Hunters, registered and new, will be given a contact to meet with at a specific location at a specific time (EST).

The Contact will provide the hunters with the following information:

The Mark, Persons of Interest and any details they may find is necessary in aiding their hired hunters

From their hunters are left to their own utility to achieve the goal of finding the Mark!

REGISTER

Registered members will be notified 48 hours in advance of when and where the next Mark will be given to Hunters.

Finding your mark:

  • Hunters are free to use any method they wish to use for finding the Mark.

  • There will be clues and additional “persons of interest” scattered around the planet to assist you honing in on the target.

  • Questioning persons of interest may reveal some pertinent information about the mark and could lead you directly to that person if you ask the right questions.

  • Hunters can choose to do the hunt alone with no assistance from persons of interest.

  • Players can choose to try to solo the event or participate with other players in a group effort depending on their level.

  • It’s always best to remember every choice has a consequence.

Persons of Interest

The Mark:

  • If you are cloaked, drop out of invisibility so that the mark can visually confirm your presence.

  • Hunters can either initiate a conversation with the mark, which is relatively open ended in its outcome or choose to go straight to a duel with the Mark.

  • In some instances the mark might try to duel the Hunter first. If the mark requests a duel, you cannot decline it, doing so will disqualify you from the competition.

  • If you request a duel without engaging in conversation, the mark will have one opportunity to decline. If the mark declines, wait for him to say something to you. If you don’t care what he has to say then you can ignore it and just request to duel again. At this point the mark will accept your request.

Solo Hunting:

  • If a Hunter wins their duel against a Mark, they will either be given the reward by the Mark or be instructed to return to the Contact for their reward.

  • The Mark will inform the Contact that you’ve completed the mission to avoid requiring players to take Screenshots.

  • Hunters (RPers Mostly) can come up with a story of taking whatever proof you want from the body, if you wish, but it is not required. The quest giver will believe you as long as they have confirmation from the mark.

  • If the mark wins the duel, however, you will be removed from the competition and have no further opportunity to participate until the next round.

Team Hunting:

  • If you are part of a team hunting the mark duels will take place in turns. The first person on the team will request to duel, if he is beaten then the next person will immediately request to duel the mark. Try to be quick about requesting the duel so that the mark does not regain too much health between fights.

  • If your team beats the mark but you lost your specific duel against the mark you aren’t considered to be disqualified. So if there is a team of 4 and the mark beats 3 before being defeated by the 4th person, you are all considered “alive”. The prize is split between all members of the team, though the Contact might elect to give a bonus to help make it more substantial.

  • Teams must conduct the initialing of the Mark contact the same as Solo Players.

  • If your entire team is beaten by the mark, however, the entire team loses and you cannot participate in the event until the next round.

Game over:

  • Once a Solo Hunter or Team of Hunters have completed their objective, all other participants will be notified via whisper that the bounty has been satisfied. At this point the event is over. You can return to the quest giver or you can go back to your regular gaming.

  • You may, however, still receive a reward from either the quest giver or someone you met along the way depending on your interactions with them. This will usually come in the form of an in-game mail, usually written in an “in character” fashion.
